Sloan Holds Online MBA Admissions Chat

MIT Sloan School of Management will be holding an online MBA Admissions Chat. The online information event will be held Dec. 15, 2014. The online chat will begin at noon.

During the online chat, attendants will have the opportunity to join members of the admissions committee and current students in conversation about the MBA program. Prospective students will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding admissions, curriculum, student life and career support during the online chat.

The MBA program at Sloan encompasses an unparalleled combination of in-depth case studies with live case discussions, stimulating collaborative projects, engrossing classes taught by exceptional faculty, extraordinary chances to interact with industry leaders and Action Learning Lab classes.

Students in the MBA program complete a required core curriculum in addition to 144 units of electives. Many MBA students pursue a Track certificate as part of their MBA experience. The Tracks are intended for students committed to careers aligned with these areas. Sloan offers three optional academic Tracks that are designed to meet the internship and career interests of the students. The Track options include Enterprise Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Finance.

The Admissions Committee looks for applicants with high academic potential, demonstrated personal achievement, strong self-motivation and a natural sense of leadership. High academic potential and personal achievements are typically reflected in test scores, academic records, and recommendations that go beyond a polite endorsement. An applicant’s leadership qualities and ambition should be apparent in their personal and professional experience, essays, and recommendations.

Registration for the online chat can be completed online. After registration, further information on programs and other information needed for the event, will be provided after registration.
