Binghamton University School of Management
Binghamton Professional MBA Program Structure
The Binghamton Professional MBA program takes place over the course of one year. Students meet on Saturdays and attend class from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Fall semester has six courses for a total of 12 credits The Spring and Summer semesters have just three courses, at 4 credits each.
Most students, arranged into cohorts, follow the same 11-course schedule, as the time constraints of the program do not allow for selection of differing coursework. However, students specializing in Business Analytics replace courses in Business Consulting and Special Topics in Management with Statistical Analysis and Data Mining and Marketing Analytics. Courses for all students include Global/Ethical Issues in Business, Managerial Communications, and Strategic Management.
The Binghamton Professional MBA program’s requirements stipulate that all students must have graduated from an AACSB-Accredited undergraduate business school no more than 7 years prior to participation in the program. This creates classes of young, motivated professionals with a substantial background of business knowledge.
The school of management has a dedicated career office offering resources such as mentoring/networking seminars, résumé and cover letter development, and mock interview services.
Tuition and Financial Aid
