Cranfield School of Management
Part of Cranfield University, the only exclusively postgraduate university in the United Kingdom that specializes in science, technology, engineering and management, the Cranfield School of Management was officially founded in 1967, though the MBA program can be traced back to 1964. The institution has triple accreditation by AACSB International, EQUIS, and AMBA.
Cranfield, England provides a pastoral backdrop for its MBA students, embedded as it is in the heart of the English countryside. Cranfield’s location also places it within the “innovation triangle” formed by London, Oxford, and Cambridge. With ample and easy connection to major arterial highways and rail lines, as well as its proximity to Heathrow, Luton, and Stansted airports, Cranfield is highly accessible from points local and abroad.
Cranfield School of Management’s Management Information and Resource Center (MIRC) and the Cranfield Management Development Center give the campus a substantial amount of management-specific space. The Development Center also serves as residential space: it holds 186 bedrooms, 27 meeting rooms, conference and training facilities, and networking areas.
Beyond academic amenities, the Cranfield University campus provides the shops, post offices, social clubs, etc. of a typical small university town.
Cranfield School of Management’s faculty is one of the largest and most diverse amongst European Business schools. Professor’s’ activities often go beyond the classroom; engaged with the global business and management communities, they regularly publish articles and attend and organize conferences as well as being practicing consultants.
