Cranfield University Executive MBA Program Structure
The Cranfield University Executive MBA is a 24-month program that begins in January, and consists of fourteen weekends per year, plus three week-long residential periods each year.
The Cranfield University Executive MBA program follows a similar tack as its full-time cousin: students complete a set of 13 core modules, as well as an array of projects and electives, such as Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, the International Business Assignment, and the Consultancy Project.
The Cranfield Executive MBA is comprised, on average, of 33 students. The majority of students in the program have 11 years of work experience. Of these, 17% are female, and represent 17 countries outside of Europe and the UK. The average age is 35.
Cranfield has a dedicated career development office that works actively with students to formulate individually tailored career strategies. The services offered include interview preparation, business development, coaching services, recruiter presentations and matching, and a CV portal for prospective employers.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition for the Cranfield University Executive MBA is £36,000 plus estimated living expenses of around £12,000.
Cranfield offers a wide range of scholarships designed to provide opportunities for applicants to pursue their MBA. Scholarships and bursaries are offered for academic merit, professional excellence, and leadership potential or on the basis of need. In addition to the general awards, there are also dedicated scholarships around sector, nationality, gender or specific industry.
For the EMBA Program Cranfield offers a corporate bursary, which gives students considerable savings towards the cost of tuition fees. For organizations wishing to sponsor their talent to study, there is a Colleague Bursary available for sponsoring two or more members of staff to study on one program in the same calendar year. The savings of 15% per person are towards the cost of tuition fees only and do not include accommodation.
A minimum of three years post-qualification work experience is required for all Cranfield School of Management MBA degrees. For the EMBA, Cranfield requires a good degree and/or professional qualification, but will also accept evidence of “exceptional career progression” or leadership potential. In addition, GMAT scores of over 600, or passing the Cranfield Admissions Tests, and a good standard of English are required, which can be proven with recent IELTS, TOEFL, CPE, CAE, or, PTE scores.
The Cranfield Executive MBA program accepts applications on a rolling basis, but encourages early applications due to the limited available spots in the program. If a student requires a visa to attend, or want to be considered for scholarships, Cranfield recommends submitting the application by the end of November.
