University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA Program Structure

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA Program at Henley Business School takes place part-time over the course of 30 months. Optional workshops also take place every other month.

Curriculum

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA is a part-time program conducted through a mix of face-to-face workshops, activities involving team and peer group learning, and independent study both online and offline.

The first term is comprised of Managing Processes and Systems, Managing Financial Resources, Managing People, and Leadership and Personal Development. Courses in the second term are Strategy, International Business, Strategic Marketing, and Reputation & Responsibility. Reputation & Responsibility may include an International Study Visit. The final term consists of Leadership & Change, a Management Research Challenge-which is a choice between a dissertation and an integrated business project-and a choice between an Elective and an International Study Visit.

Class Profile

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA program is targeted at experienced managers with a minimum of three years’ experience, although most that enter the program have at least nine years of management experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid

The University of Reading Flexible Executive MBA program’s tuition is £23,500 for the October 2016 intake. Fee reductions directly from the institution are available, in addition to loans, grants, scholarships and bursaries that vary in magnitude are given to a range of qualified students.

Admissions Procedures

To be admitted to Henley Business School, you are required to have five years of management experience, an advanced degree, and competence in English, and access to company data for assignments.

Henley also welcomes applicants with exceptional management experience (a minimum of five years’ experience at a senior or strategic level) who may not meet all the formal criteria for admission, such as an undergraduate degree.
