Simmons School of Management – Simmons College

Simmons College Online MBA Program Structure

The Simmons College Online MBA is an exclusively online program that provides all the content of a traditional two-year MBA curriculum.

Curriculum

The Simmons College Online MBA consists of eight terms totaling 48 credits. Each term features two courses that can be completed in as little as 24 months. Students may extend completion time by taking just one course per term. These courses follow the initial Foundations of Business orientation course.

Students must also take six credits worth of electives alongside the aforementioned 48 core credits. These can also be completed online, but there is an in-person immersion offered as well.

Careers

Simmons College Online MBA students have access to the Simmons Career Education Center. The Career Toolkit assists with career planning through a number of services including job and internship placement, personality assessments to discover the right employment fit, networking opportunities, interview, cover letter and resume writing instruction seminars and job fairs. The center’s online CareerLink resource also posts full-time job and internship opportunities.

Program graduates have been hired for careers at a number of businesses including for-profit companies, non-profit organizations and social enterprises.
