The Carnegie Mellon Part-Time Flex MBA is not like other Pittsburgh-based MBA programs. We deliver the same rigorous curriculum as our top-ranked full-time program in a flexible format designed to meet the demands of working professionals. The program is delivered through a combination of on-campus and online classes that accommodate your busy schedule without sacrificing the critical MBA network.

You also have access to the Tepper Roadmap, a personalized professional development plan created specifically for our part-time MBA students. As a busy working professional, you know where you want your career to go but need help creating and executing a plan to get there. The Roadmap provides a framework to focus your efforts and the resources to advance your growth during and after the program.

With an unparalleled focus on leadership development and analytics, the Tepper School MBA curriculum provides an integrated view of business and skill development that will prepare you to manage, lead, and solve complex business problems.

Our dual focus on strategic analytics and leadership development provides a powerful foundation for applying coursework that emphasizes core management fundamentals. The curriculum emphasizes mastery of management fundamentals in year one, prior to the selection of electives that provide breadth and depth in key industry and functional areas.

 

Class Profile

The Carnegie Mellon Part-Time Flex MBA Class of 2024  features 34 students, 24 percent of which are female. The average student in the program scored 691 on the GMAT, had a 3.55 undergraduate GPA, and enrolled with 7.1 years of prior professional work experience.

Admissions

The following must be included in the Carnegie Mellon Part-Time Flex MBA application:

• An online application form
• Current resume
• One required essay
• One professional recommendation
• Unofficial transcripts of all academic work
• Official GMAT score (preferred) or GRE (accepted)
• Official TOEFL or IELTS score (if applicable)
• $200 application fee

Application deadlines are as follows:
Round Two – January 5, 2023

– March 12, 2023
