Babson to Host Entrepreneurship Forum

On November 15, Babson College’s F.W. Olin School of Business will host its twelfth annual Entrepreneurship Forum. More than five hundred people are expected to attend the forum. The theme of this year’s forum is shaping the future, and the organizers have invited speakers who will discuss how entrepreneurial ventures can create social and economic value across the globe.

For the first time in the event’s history, the keynote sessions will be livestreamed online. The morning keynote will feature David Fialkow and Yuchun Lee of General Catalyst Partners, speaking at 9:15 AM. The closing keynote will feature the founder of Zipcar and Buzzcar.com, Robin Chase at 4:00 PM.

The day will also feature breakout events in the style of TedTalks. Speakers for the day include Jenny Rushmore, the Director of Responsible Travel for TripAdvisor; Jules Pieri, the Founder and CEO of TheGrommet; Gene Miller, the Executive Director of FUEL Education; Gil Alterovitz, the Director of the Biomedical Cybernetics Laboratory and a Professor at Harvard Medical School;  Mike Cagney, the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Cabezon Investment Group, and Jon Carson, the CEO of BiddingForGood.

The forum will take place from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on the 15th. Tickets cost $42.99 for students and $63.99 for professionals (fees included).
