New CMBA Program Offerings at UIC Liautaud

The UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business announced its plans to a new accelerated MBA degree program. The one-year accelerated master’s is a cohort program with a focus on the global marketplace.

Over the course of one year, full-time students will concentrate on one of two tracks: financial markets and risk management or international management. This degree is designed to prepare students to have a global influence as they learn about the various contemporary issues facing multinational corporations.

Students in UIC’s CMBA programs engage in case studies, business simulations, and projects, proposing new companies and compete for venture capital support, including in UIC’s own C2V event.  Since 1996, more than 2,700 folks have earned their MBA degrees from UIC, which combines the high quality educational and experiential components of the traditional program with a mission to advance international students’ understanding of western business practices and culture.

Alumni rave about returning to their careers with a better understanding of how to bridge cultural divides and their capabilities of understanding both Asian and Western business practices and thinking.
The CMBA Programs truly offers a world-class education in a world-class city like Chicago. Students may apply for the May 2014 financial markets and risk management degree program until March 15. The international management program begins in August 2014.
