Stillman Offers Certificates in Marketing and Public Relations

Public relations (PR) and marketing skills are crucial for small business owners. In recognition of that fact, Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business will offer marketing and public relations workshops for small business owners and entrepreneurs this spring. The workshops will be offered through the Continuing Education and Professional Studies program at Seton Hall.

Both classes offer valuable content. In the Marketing & Branding for Small Business workshop, students will learn how to define their brand, differentiate themselves from competitors, and write content for their website or social media accounts. Students will also have the opportunity to create a personalized marketing plan for their business. In the Public Relations & Communication for Small Business workshop, students will prepare a PR strategy for their business to attract customers and develop their brand. Students will also learn how to prepare for the unexpected and deal with public relations hurdles.

Both workshops will offer certificates that can be earned in three Saturday sessions. The workshops cost $299 to attend. The Public Relations and Communication workshop will meet on March 1, March 22, and March 29. The Branding and Marketing workshop will meet on April 5, April 12, and April 26. Both courses will occur on Seton Hall University’s Main Campus and each session will last from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Jeanine Moss will teach both workshops.

You can learn more about the Marketing and Public Relations workshops or register for a workshop at Seton Hall University’s Continuing Education and Professional Studies website.
