Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business to host International Export Seminar

In partnership with the US Department of Commerce’s Long Island Export Assistance Center, the Center for International Financial Services and Markets of Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business will host a breakfast seminar, sponsored by TD Bank, on the topic of International Export.

Titled “Financial Resources for Going Global: Show me the Money”, the seminar will be held on April 1. Registration for the event is available on the school’s event page.

A panel of experts from the banking and finance industries and the U.S. Commerce Department, along with Charles Dugan of TD Bank and Susan Axelrod, founder of Long Island based Love and Quiches Gourmet, will be featured. The event will highlight available private and public resources to help micro, small and medium sized companies export internationally, and provide a platform for those company professionals to network within the Long Island business community and leverage their business contacts.

This seminar will be the second event in a series of breakfast seminars on the topic of international export, stemming from a collaboration between Hofstra University and the U.S. Commercial Service, the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The series is designed to increase awareness about exporting, especially for micro and medium sized businesses.
