Merage Offers CFA Designation Prep Course

The Office of Executive Education at UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business and the CFA Society of Orange County (CFAOC) have partnered to provide live exam preparation classes in Orange County to candidates pursuing the CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.

Level 1 and Level 2 preparation courses for the CFA® Exam in addition to complimentary networking events will be offered throughout the year at The Paul Merage School of Business – UC Irvine. The level 1 course is offered twice a year, in the spring and fall (for the December exam). The level 2 course is offered in the spring (for the June exam).

The 2014 Fall Level 1 review course for the December 2014 exam will be held August 2, 2014 to November 22, 2014. The program is 16 wks with optional full-length mock exam. Classes are held at UC Irvine on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The cost of the program is $1495 for the general public and $1350 for CFAOC Society Members. The cost of the program includes full course lecture notes, 16 sessions at UCI, Complimentary registration to full-length mock exam and an exclusive offer for registrants. The exclusive offer includes a full set of Schweser study notes and question bank, which is offered at a significant discount of $435.

The full-length mock exam will be offered on November 22, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registration for the live exam preparation classes in Orange County for those interesting in pursing the CFA designation can be completed online at the Merage School’s website.
