Said Business School announced twenty two students from across the school’s MBA, MSc in Financial Economics, and Masters in Law and Finance programs as recipients of the Oxford BNY Mellon Achievement Awards for ‘community spirit and community knowledge.’ In a June 12th ceremony with Dean Peter Tufano and BNY Mellon representatives, the students accepted awards honoring commitments made to their school’s and individual classes’s collective greatness.

‘Our students come from all over the globe and are drawn from many different sectors, each bringing their own unique and diverse perspective, professional knowledge, and experience to enrich the class and build a strong community that collectively has the power to address world-scale problems.’ said Tufano.

MBA students who won the award include:

–    Isabella Horrocks, an MBA student nominated for leading the largest ever student trek to Nairobi and utilizing previous experience with a rural Kenyan social enterprise to ensure student safety and well-being

–    Yue Yang, a Singaporean MBA student nominated for sharing her insightful view and experience of the Asian real estate market, as well as taking the lead on Asia OBN operations

All recipients expressed gratitude for this recognition and cited the Said-BNY Mellon partnership as fundamental to their achievements.
