Stanford MBA App Deadline

The deadline for the second round of applications for the Stanford Graduate School of Business MBA program is Jan. 7, 2015. This deadline is for the Fall 2015 class. Applicants who submit al required documents for admission by the Jan. 7 deadline will receive an admissions decision by March 25, 2015.

There is no preferred curriculum for undergraduate study for those who wish to apply to the MBA program. Instead, the admissions office looks at how an applicant has challenged his or herself throughout their academic career and how they have performed. A U.S. bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required for admission to the Stanford MBA Program. Degrees from international universities offering only three-year baccalaureate degrees are valid equivalents.

There is also no work experience required for entry to the Stanford MBA Program. Applications from college seniors and recent college graduates, as well as those with all levels of work experience are all welcome candidates for admission. Although there is no work experience requirement for the program, a professional resume is still a required document for admission. More information on admission documents required for applications can be found online.

The Stanford MBA program is a two-year full time program. Over the course of year one of the program, students build their general management knowledge and gain global experience. Students have the opportunity to personalize their MBA experience in the second year through electives, seminars, a joint or dual degree, and other courses at other Stanford schools.

The admissions office recommends that applicants first research the admissions requirements, program overview and attend an admissions event and a campus tour. More information on admissions events can be found online.
