CSULB Holds MBA Program Information Session

California State University, Long Beach will be hosting an information session for its Saturday MBA program, Daytime Accelerated MBA program and Evening MBA. The event will be held Feb. 5 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The location of the information session will be announced at a later date. The event is free for all prospective students to attend.

The Evening MBA is a self-paced program where students determine both the number of classes taken each term and the sequence of their classes. The program is ideal for students who work full-time and can only dedicate evenings to an MBA program. Each class meets one night per week. The program can be completed in two to four years.

The Daytime Accelerated MBA gives students an opportunity to earn a MBA degree in a little more than one year. The program consists of five ten-week sessions, where students attend classes full-time, Monday through Thursday, and generally complete three classes per session. The program is offered as a lockstep cohort format of 25 to 35 students.

In the Saturday MBA Program, students participate in two courses at a time. The entire 48-unit program will be completed in 23 months. The MBA/MFA degree will prepare arts professionals in all areas of both arts administration and business for professional management careers in performing arts organizations, arts service organizations, government, funding agencies and arts councils.

Prospective students interested in attending the information session can complete the registration online. The information sessions at CSULB are short presentations by program representatives. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation for attendants to ask any questions about the program, application process or financial aid opportunities.
