Rutgers Apps Receive Priority Scholarship Consideration

Prospective students who complete applications for the Rutgers Business School, Newark and New Brunswick by Jan. 20 will receive priority consideration for scholarships. This opportunity is for those who are applying for the Full-Time MBA program at Rutgers.

Tuition for the full-time program for New Jersey residents is $12,406. Tuition for out of state residents is $21,329.50. The Graduate Admissions Office offers scholarships for the Full-Time MBA program. Applicants must meet requirements of each scholarship at the time of admission.

Scholarship opportunities offered at Rutgers are provided through the Rutgers Business School Graduate Scholarship Fund. The fund is supported by gifts from alumni, friends of the school and supporting corporations. These gifts provide financial support to graduate students at Rutgers. The amount of financial support given to students is based on the financial need of the student and their academic potential.

There are also more than 20 annual and endowed scholarship fund opportunities available for MBA students. These opportunities have been established at Rutgers Business School through private support of individuals, foundations and corporations. Prospective applicants can find the necessary requirements and specific scholarship opportunities available online.

In order to complete an application for admission at Rutgers, prospective students must complete an online application, pay a $65 application fee, provide official transcripts, GRE/GMAT test results, two letters of reference and a copy of their current resume. Applicants must also complete a typed, two-page essay on one of three essay topics.

Jan. 20 is the second round application deadline and is the final deadline for international students. Those who complete the application by this time will receive a decision for admission by Feb. 15.
