Rutgers Holds EMBA Open House

The Rutgers Business School- Newark and New Brunswick will be hosting an Open House for its Executive MBA program. The Open House will be held Feb. 21 from 9:15 to 11 a.m. The Open House will be held at the Newark campus. The executive MBA program is offered online and in the classroom.

The EMBA program at Rutgers is comprised of 57 credits and can be completed in as little as twenty months. Courses for the program are held from early September to May. Each term begins with an intensive week of classes in residence at Dolce, Basking Ridge. The week immerses program participants in the semester’s courses and also fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and class cohesion.

The week-in-residence allows participants to get acquainted with their classmates and their individual learning teams. Students refer to the week-in-residence as an “intensive, yet exhilarating” experience. After the week in residence, all classes are held on the Newark Campus.

This arrangement allows students to work full time and go to school full time. One subject is taught in the morning followed by a different class in the afternoon. The morning class is held from 8:30-12:15. Classes end at 5pm.

The program fee includes parking; the purchase of all books and materials including software; and catered breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks on all class days. Since its establishment in 1980, the only cost borne by the student in the program is the airfare to and from China, the visa fee for China and meals on open days while on the trip.

The general information session will begin at 9:15 and a coffee break will follow at 10:15. Prospective Executive MBA program students can complete an RSVP form for the Executive MBA Open House.
