Anisfield College of Business will be hosting an upcoming information session. During this information session, prospective students can also determine whether or not they are eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver. The information session will be held March 28 at 10 a.m. Those interested in receiving a GMAT/GRE waiver must arrive one hour before the information session or stay one hour after to meet with an advisor. Applicants seeking a waiver must bring an updated resume and a copy of their undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts. Prospective students who are interested in attending the information session can complete registration online.

This information session is for Anisfield’s 20 month accelerated MBA program for professionals. Classes for the MBA program are held two evenings per week on the Ramapo campus, with three hours a week of online learning. Students complete two classes each 10-week term. Students complete 42 credits over the course of seven terms. Students complete six core courses, three leadership courses, two global components, two elective courses and one capstone course consulting project.

Before the start of the program, students must complete a PreMBA review. This consists of three courses covering accounting, quantitative methods and statistics and business writing and communication. These PreMBA courses provide students who do not have a business background with the knowledge necessary to be successful in the course.

The core courses provide students with a solid business foundation. Core courses cover managerial economics, accounting for managerial decision-making, statistics and decision models, financial management, operations management and marketing management and strategy. The leadership and global courses give students the know-how to be successful leaders in the global economy.
