Argyros Career Services Moves to New Building

Goals Strategy

Argyros Career Services at the Argyros School of Business has moved into a new, state-of-the-art career center building. The new building opened on the first day of the spring semester. With the new space, career services will be able to offer  Argyros students more services as well as expand services to the entire Chapman University population.

The new career center building features new dedicated interview rooms, each equipped with a computer, telephone, flat screen TV and a high quality video camera. The career services staff is still working to use the interview space to expand on-campus interviewing to help Argyros students with interview preparation for internships and full-time employment.

In addition to the new services for Argyros School students, all Chapman University students will now be able to book an interview room for career-related activities such as phone or video interviews or networking phone calls. Along with the new interview rooms,

Argyros Career Services staff will continue to offer career-related programs and services to business students including career advising, networking events, employer treks and more. Career services also offers Argyros students with an online database called Argyros Connect. Argyros Connect gives students access to business-related jobs and internships.

Career services also offers a graduate mentor program, which matches each graduate candidates with a working professional who provides guidance and direction. The Career Center also offers opportunities for students to engage with employers on campus through a speaker series, industry nights, office hours, coffee chats, and information sessions.
