Once again, the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego was recognized as one of the top business schools in the world. According to a ranking released by CEOWorld Magazine, Rady ranked #81 for global business schools for executives and entrepreneurs in 2016.
The ranking system evaluated the top business schools around the globe for academic reputation, admission eligibility, job placement rate, specialization, and more. They surveyed more than 120,000 individuals through polling, including 22,500 students, 45,000 industry professionals, and 52,500 recruiters.
Ranking Criteria
Each school was ranked based on seven criteria for an overall score out of 100. The criteria were:
- Academic reputation
- Admission eligibility
- Job placement rate
- Recruiter feedback
- Specialization
- Global reputation and influence
- Annual tuition and fees
To come up with a score, CEOWorld collected data from publicly available sources as well as through their survey. The study asked participants to rate each business school on a scale of 1 (marginal) to 100 (outstanding).
Top Ranked Schools
Overall, the Rady School received a score of 85.94. Less than 13 points below the top spot. The top ten programs were as follows:
- Harvard Business School
- London Business School
- MIT Sloan School of Management
- INSEAD Business School
- Wharton School
- Stanford Graduate School of Business
- Haas School of Business
- Columbia Business School
- Yale School of Management
- Iese Business School
Rady was thrilled, yet again, to be recognized as one of the top business schools in the world. This ranking was just one of many for the business school.
