Cal. State LA Holds MBA Info Session

The College of Business and Economics at Cal. State Los Angeles will be holding a MBA information session. The event will be held Jan. 22, 2015. It will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Student Services Center at the Cal. State LA campus.

The College of Business and Economics at Cal State L.A. is a learning community of 67 full-time faculty and staff and more than 3,200 students dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education for a multicultural, global environment.

Cal State L.A.’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to develop general managers capable of working in an increasingly multicultural and global environment. Key elements include, integrated modules that cross-functional disciplines, a common cohort experience, teamwork among both faculty and students, a focus on global business awareness and a participative, student-centered learning environment.

Classes for the MBA program are offered during evenings and occasionally on weekends. This newly structured MBA program provides all of the features of a full-time program on a convenient evening schedule.

In order to be considered for admission to the University and the MBA program, applicants must submit an official CSU Graduate Application to the University, have a baccalaureate from an accredited institution, submit official, sealed transcripts, which must include verification of the bachelor’s degree and have an overall grade point average of at least 2.5.

The College examines each candidate’s potential, taking into consideration all academic work experience, level of responsibility, and other factors that may have a bearing on the individual’s potential for success. Applicants are evaluated on the merits of their own application in comparison with those of all other applicants for the quarter.
