Graziado Announce Full-time MSHR Program

Graziado School of Business and Management recently announced that they are launching a new full-time Master of Science in Human Resources (MSHR) program, according to a press release from the school.

Requirements for the program are a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent. Work experience is not necessary, but up to two years is a bonus. Graziado’s MSHR program is designed for professionals who are interested in starting a career in human resources or who are interested in enhancing their human resources experience to take on strategic leadership roles to align HR and business goals. The full-time MSHR is offered alongside the part-time MSHR, both of which are comprehensive programs.

Students in the program will learn a wide variety of human capital management skills in order to prepare them to manage modern organizational workforces. The curriculum includes concepts like enhanced self-awareness, group dynamics, change management, and organizational development. Topics for courses include compensation, job design, talent and performance management, as well as HR-specific classes on strategy, law, analytics, and digital information platforms. There is an emphasis on applying these ideas to current issues facing human resources leaders.

David Smith, PhD and Dean of Graziado, emphasized the value of good human skills in the business world. In order to be an effective leader in today’s business world, you need to be proficient in both technical skills and human skills. Our cohort-based program and small class sizes offer a collaborative learning experience and one-on-one access to world-renowned professors in the human resource field,” he said in a press release from the school.
