Drucker School’s Online Learning Modules Blaze New Trails

The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management of Claremont Graduate University has proudly announced the introduction of module within Trailhead, a free online tool for MBAs.

The Drucker School MBA Essentials Trail prepares users for mastery of Salesforce, the world’s foremost customer resource management software.

Described as “an interactive, gamified experience”, Trailhead presents students with badges that allow them to market their new skills. After completing the modules with the Drucker Essentials Trail, participants earn a Certificate of Completion.

Those who took a survey after earning the certificate reported overwhelmingly positive results. 96% stated that they came away with confidence in their ability to help their organizations’ performance with tools that they learned. Bill Powell, sales operations analyst for CSS Inc, had a shining review. He said, “In recent executive meetings, some of the topics were brought up that I learned on the trail… these modules could not have come at a better time!”

The three modules are The Balanced Scorecard, which offers training in measurement of organizational success; Customer and Market Strategy; and Business Performance Basics.

Thomas A. Horan, Henry Y. Hwang Dean of Drucker School of Management, said, “As a school founded on the Peter Drucker principle that the purpose of an organization is to create and keep a customer, the opportunity to bring Drucker’s essential tools and concepts to a worldwide audience that is dedicated to achieving customer success is an important milestone for the school… In this age of the customer, everyone and everything is becoming more connected.”
