Georgia Tech Employees Eligible to Earn MBA with Tuition Assistance

Though unknown by many in the Georgia Tech community, Georgia Tech employees have the option to earn an MBA at the Georgia Institute of Technology – Scheller College of Business to further benefit their career. 

Georgia Tech employees employed in a full-time, benefits eligible position, who have been in their role for at least six months, may be eligible for tuition wavers while earning their MBA at Scheller.

Employees meeting the criteria have the ability to enroll in up to nine semester hours of classes each semester, most typically enrolling in the Evening MBA program at Scheller. Through this program Tech employees can take classes that meet just once each week and are offered Monday through Thursday evenings. The program also allows each student to customize their their curriculum and complete their degree at their own pace.

“The Evening MBA is a versatile degree for individuals from all academic and professional background,” said Katie Lloyd, executive director of recruiting and admissions for the Evening MBA program. “Whether you are an engineer managing projects and leading teams, a finance or marketing professional hoping to advance, or someone who would like to make a career pivot, the Evening MBA gives you the tools you need to excel in your chosen field.”

Tech employees eligible for these tuition waivers have the opportunity to earn an MBA at a program ranked among the best in the country. Most recently, the the Scheller was ranked fourth overall for job placement and fourth for student satisfaction by Bloomberg Businessweek, and the Evening MBA ranked among the top 25 in the country by Bloomberg Businessweek.
