What Are Moral Profits Anyway?
Earlier this month a well-researched, incredibly comprehensive Newsweek piece from author Duff McDonald entitled “Harvard Business School and the Propagation of Immoral Profit Strategies” debuted, with McDonald offering up scarring, lengthy details about how HBS economists such as Michael Jensen may have let the goal of endless profits jarred moral sensibility. Or as McDonald more bluntly tells it as, “How Harvard Flunked Economics.”
Warby Parker CEO Neil Blumenthal On How To Tackle Frustration
A recent Business Insider piece on billionaire Warby Parker CEO and Wharton MBA alum Neil Blumenthal offers some advice on how entrepreneurs need to solve problems from a business perspective.
“Every day, write down a few frustrations. And then at the end of the week, you’ll have maybe 10 problems. By the end of the month, maybe you have 40 to 50 problems. And then you can spend time thinking about: Is there a viable business in solving any of these everyday frustrations?”

Nathan Peterman: NFL Quarterback and MBA
While he may not be among the most notable crop of prospects slated to be picked in next weeks NFL Draft in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh quarterback Nathan Peterman is among the very, very few that actually has an MBA to their name. He is currently rumored to be selected by the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars or Los Angeles Chargers.
Baylor University Announces Dr. Linda A. Livingstone as President
George Washington University School of Business Dean Dr. Linda A. Livingstone will be the new Baylor University President after it was announced she “was the unanimous choice of the Baylor Board of Regents, following the recommendation of the 12-member Presidential Search Committee.”
Livingstone was previously the Graziadio School of Business and Management dean and associate dean and associate professor in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business.
