DePaul Career Center Releases Kellstadt Graduate Employment Info

Depaul Kellstadt

Good news if you’re a student at DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business: According to the 2015 Postgraduate Outcomes Summary released by the DePaul Career Center, 94 percent of the school’s 2014-15 graduates are either employed, continuing their education or not seeking employment.

Jennifer Kopczynski, interim director of the Kellstadt Career Management Center (CMC), said in a statement:

“This is a very strong number for our graduate students. What makes the number even more impressive is that nearly all of those graduates are working in a job related to their degree.”

In order to get this information, surveys are conducted each year by the Career Center to measure their post-graduation status. Students are surveyed prior to graduation, six months after they receive their degrees, and additional data is gathered from LinkedIn profiles.

Some highlights of the Class of 2015 DePaul business graduate survey include:

According to the school, The Kellstadt Career Management Center provides resources and opportunities for DePaul graduate students who are seeking a new job, a career change or to advance in their careers. The CMC hosts events that includes industry nights, career education workshops, and career fairs.

Kopczynski believes that “partnering with the Kellstadt Career Management Center early and often is important” for students “since graduate students have different goals  for attaining their advanced business degrees, taking advantage of the center’s resources and networking connections can lead to success.”
