Fox Temple Maintains Top Spot As Country’s Best Online MBA

Online MBA

For the third straight year, the Fox School of Business at Temple University earned top honors as the country’s premiere Online MBA program, according to U.S. News & World Report.

The publication’s 2017 ‘Best Online MBA & Graduate Business Programs‘ list was formally revealed Jan. 10, with Fox leading the way yet again. Among all of the 179 schools that were selected for the ranking, Fox was the only school to earn a perfect score of ‘100’ in any of the four graded categories. The Fox Online MBA earned the perfect score for “Student Engagement,” a 98 for “Admissions Selectivity,” 97 for “Faculty Credentials and Training” and a 76 for “Student Services and Technology.”

Among undergraduate online programs, the Fox Online Bachelor of Business Administration degree earned 2nd place overall—another high honor for the university.

In a press release, Dr. M. Moshe Porat, Dean of the Fox School of Business, said, “When we launched the Online MBA program in 2009 and the Online BBA in 2012, we chose to build our digital-learning model from the inside out. We hired video editors, instructional designers, and everyone in between to comprise our Online & Digital Learning team. Our team has embraced the Fox School’s mission to deliver the same top-ranked MBA and BBA programs across a consistent, user-friendly, online format. We admit the same quality of students, apply the same rigor, and utilize the same award-winning faculty. The results speak for themselves, and it is an honor that our online programs have been recognized by U.S. News as the benchmark for others in the United States.”

Dr. Darin Kapanjie, Academic Director of the Fox Online MBA and Online BBA programs, also added, “Our programs meet the needs of today’s busy professional. Our MBA students, for example, enroll with an average of 12 years professional experience, which is something unique to Fox’s program. With that experience, we know our students are juggling both professional and personal responsibilities. At the same time, they want a rigorous and collaborative program.”

“Technology, innovation and collaboration are pillars of the Fox online programs,” Kapanjie continued. “We’ll stay on top if we continue to recruit top-notch students and work together as a team to provide the elite curriculum to our online population.”

Despite a number of stellar business schools located throughout the Philadelphia metro, only Fox earned a spot in the top 50 on the Online MBA ranking. For more information on the program, head to the official Fox Temple website.
