Houston MBA Programs That Don’t Require the GMAT or GRE

Please note that many of these programs are executive MBA programs, which typically cater to applicants with many years of professional experience. Click on a program profile below to see if you meet the eligibility requirements for that program.

Jesse H. Jones School of Business – Texas Southern University



GMAT scores for the Executive MBA Program will be waived in place of significant professional working experience.

Cameron School of Business – University of St. Thomas



Applicants for the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA Programs may submit, but are not required to, letters of recommendation, a statement of intent and GMAT/GRE scores.

C.T. Bauer College of Business – University of Houston



The GMAT or GRE is not required for the Executive MBA program.

Jones Graduate School of Business – Rice University



For the Executive MBA program, GMAT, GRE, and English proficiency exam waivers are granted on a case by case basis.

Mays Business School – Texas A&M University



The Executive MBA Program does not require the GRE or GMAT.
