MBA Programs That Don’t Require the GMAT or GRE

MBA Programs That Don't Require the GMAT or GRE

Welcome to Metro MBA’s No GMAT Requirement Guide

It’s not rare for programs to request that candidates take the GMAT or GRE tests or submit their scores to be considered for admission. Select programs, however, may not require GMAT or GRE scores with applications.

While there are plenty of MBA programs that don’t require GMAT/GRE scores on a regular basis, many are beginning to waive the requirement due to limitations set by the COVID-19 pandemic. These tests are typically taken in person, which can pose challenges for candidates.

Without a GMAT requirement, programs will weigh other factors more heavily. For example, someone who does not submit a GMAT score may be expected to have more work experience or a high GPA.

Below are some full-time, part-time, and online MBA programs that don’t currently require the GMAT or GRE.
