Financial Time Ranks Smith School In Latest List

The latest full-time MBA program rankings from Financial Times recognize the Robert H. Smith School of Business’s program among the top 25 in the nation and top 50 in the world. The 2015 rankings, released on January 26th, also scores Smith’s PhD program top 10 in the world.

“Together [Smith School faculty, staff, students and alumni] are delivering on the Smith School’s mission,” Dean Alex Triantis said in a statement on the Smith School’ website. “We are working to create knowledge, promote a learning environment that fosters intellectual discovery, and equip current and future leaders to assess complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.”

The full-time MBA program climbed two spots, from No. 26 to No. 24, among U.S. schools in the annual ranking, and from No. 50 to No. 49 in the world. The PhD program climbed two spots from No. 11 to No. 9 in the world in 2014.

Additionally, The Financial Times ranked the Smith among the top 50 in the world for research (No. 26), percentage of female faculty (No. 31), percentage of female students (No. 34), internationalism of faculty (No. 35), and job placement success (No. 37). The average salary for full-time MBA alumni three years after graduation was $108,143.
