Mays Students Bring Big Ideas to Entrepreneurship Contest

Every year, The Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship (CNVE) at University of Texas A&M Mays Business School hosts the Raymond Ideas Challenge. This year’s event, hosted in May, brought together 40 “big ideas” from more than 100 applicants.

Students from anywhere in the university can apply to the contest. This year, students were asked to explain “what is your big idea?” Students could compete as individuals or in teams to complete a video pitch and a written proposal. The video pitches went online where they could be voted on by the general public.
