Next, recommenders are asked to rate the applicant 
on a five-point scale on a series of abilities related to management, communication, and interpersonal skills. The admissions committee asks recommenders to rate applicant on a five-point scale: 1) Outstanding, 2) Above Average, 3) Average, 4) Below Average, and 5) Unknown.
