Smith has experience in implementing recruiting and retention campaigns, and providing a range of student services to nontraditional, military and veteran students. Her new duties as the new Assistant Dean will include overseeing undergraduate academic advising for business students, developing and maintaining course schedules, administering academic affairs and monitoring the course evaluation process.

A longtime student herself, Smith earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in human services from Stevenson University in 2004 before earning her Masters of Science degree in counselor education from McDaniel College in 2008.
