D’Amore-McKim Associate Dean Named Board Member of GMAC

The Graduate Management Admissions Council has named D’Amore-McKim‘s Associate Dean of graduate programs Kate Klepper, as a new board member. Klepper joins the board at the same time as a new board chair and four other board members.

The Graduate Management Admissions Council was formed in 1970 as an education corporation under New York state law. The GMAC is responsible for the GMAT and follows the philosophy that business and management are critical to the economic and social well being of people worldwide. The council provides information and insights to improve decision-making about the discovery and evaluation of talent for MBA programs.

Before returning to Northeastern as Director, Klepper was dean of graduate admissions at Babson College. During her tenure, BusinessWeek rated Babson one of the top 30 MBAs in the US, USNews & World Report rated the MBA in the top 50 and Princeton Review rated it the no. one MBA program for women.

While at Babson, Ms. Klepper was a founding member and treasurer of the Forte Foundation, an organization dedicated to inspiring women business leaders. Prior to working at Babson, she was the director of working professional programs and the manager of the High Tech MBA at Northeastern University.

Ms. Klepper has been the primary representative to the Graduate Management Admissions Council throughout her career. She is also a member of the scholarship advisory board of Military MBA. Klepper has her MBA with a concentration in marketing from Northeastern University.
