BC Creates eBook for Evening MBA
The Admissions team at the Boston College Carroll School of Management has created an eBook for students interested in the evening MBA program. Prospective students can download this eBook for free. The eBook outlines questions that the admissions team feels that prospective students should ask when considering an evening MBA program.
Some of the topics discussed in the eBook are how to tell your employer your plan to attend school while continuing to work and what to look for in a MBA program. The eBook also outlines what prospective students should ask admissions offices before applying to any program for an MBA degree.
The evening MBA program at BC is a flexible program that allows students to continue to work in their current positions while completing the program. A benefit of an evening MBA is that students can immediately apply what they learn in class to their work.
The same faculty that teach the full-time MBA program at the Carroll School of Management also teach the evening or part-time program. Students have the option to pursue their MBA degree through the cohort structure of the program, where students in a group complete each course together in a lock-step order or through a self-paced option, where students complete courses over a period of time, at their own pace.
The Fall 2014 entering class of evening MBA students is made up of 96 students. Students in this class have an average of five years of work experience. The average age of students in this program is 28 and 33 percent of the class are women.
