U.S. News and World Report’s 2016 Best Graduate Programs ranks The Robert H. Smith School of Business as No. 41 among 464 accredited full-time MBA programs surveyed and No. 20 among public schools. The ranking were released on March 10, 2015.

In addition, Smith School’s part-time MBA program is ranked No. 26 overall and No.16 among public schools, according to a Press Release on the business school’s website.

Back in January, Financial Times recognized Smith’s full-time MBA program among the top 25 in the nation and top 50 in the world.

“Together we’re delivering on the Smith School’s mission,” Dean Alex Triantis said in a statement. “We are working to create knowledge, promote a learning environment that fosters intellectual discovery, and equip current and future leaders to assess complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.”

U.S. News and World Report bases the rankings on statistical data from each school along with expert opinions from academic leaders and business professionals, including corporate recruiters. The MBA rankings are calculated by combining evaluations from business school deans and program chairs, recruiter assessment, admissions data, and salary and job placement figures. Specialty rankings are determined entirely by assessment from deans and program chairs. The methodology for USN’s part-time survey is based half on evaluations from deans and directors and half on a combination of GMAT and GRE averages, undergraduate GPA and work experience, among other factors.
