Ball State University – Miller College of Business

History

When successful businessman Wallace T. Miller Jr. died unexpectedly in 1998, his gift to Ball State University’s College of Business was the largest single private gift from an individual in the history of the university. Through his generosity, Wally Miller created a legacy for future generations of Ball State business students, and Ball State’s first named college now bears his name.  With accreditation from AACSB International—the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business—Miller College is among the world’s top five percent of business schools. AACSB is the premier professional accrediting body for schools of business, and we work hard to maintain this credential.  Ball State was the first state-supported institution in Indiana to hold separate AACSB accreditation for Accounting, an even more selective list, with only about 170 schools across the globe with accredited accounting programs.
