La Salle School of Business Introduces New Online MBA

La Salle Online MBA

In October 2017, La Salle University’s School of Business will officially launch its new Online MBA program. The program is entirely virtual, so students can earn an MBA regardless of their physical location. Courses in the program last eight weeks, with five start dates to choose from each year. Students pursuing the Online MBA can choose from a variety of specializations, such as Business Systems and Analytics, Management, Marketing, Finance and Accounting.

La Salle Names New Chair of Board of Trustees

Stephen Zarrilli, La Salle University Trustee and School of Business alumnus, has been named Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees. Zarrilli serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of publicly traded Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., a growth capital provider headquartered in Wayne, Pa. He has served as a La Salle Trustee since 2012. Zarrilli will succeed William R. Sautter, La Salle School of Business alumnus and President and Chief Executive Officer of Elliott-Lewis Corporation, who served as Board Chair for nine years.

In addition to serving on the La Salle Board of Trustees, Zarrilli also serves as an Advisory Board member of the Corporate Governance Council of Drexel University’s LeBow School of Business and as a member of the Advisory Board for Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Zarrilli graduated from La Salle University in 1983 with an accounting degree. He also frequently serves as a lecturer on corporate governance, financial management, organizational and capital development matters. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Wharton in 2010.

La Salle Holds Grad Studies Open House

The La Salle University School of Business will be holding an Open House for Graduate and Continuing Studies. The Open House will be held April 12 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The event will be held at the La Salle main campus in Philadelphia. Those interested in attending the event can complete a registration form online.

All of the MBA programs at La Salle University are internationally recognized for having earned Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) accreditation. Less than five percent of business schools worldwide earn this distinction. La Salle MBA students have the option to complete their MBA either part-time or full-time, depending on what schedule works best for them.

La Salle Holds PT MBA Information Session

The next information session for the part-time MBA program at the La Salle University School of Business will be held Feb. 26. This is an online virtual information session that can be accessed from the comfort of your own home or office. During the information session, prospective students can learn about the advantages of a Lasallian Business education and ask questions about the overall program, curriculum or classes.

The La Salle MBA program is offered at the Main Campus in Philadelphia, the Bucks County Center in Newtown, Pa., and the Montgomery County Center in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., at the Metroplex Corporate Center. Classes can be taken at one or all the locations over the course of your time at La Salle.
