SFSU Holds MBA Open House

San Francisco State University College of Business is holding an MBA open house. The open house will be held Nov. 18, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the San Francisco State University Downtown Campus.

The graduate business program features rigorous curriculum and teaching excellence, small class size, unmatched value, located near SF’s vibrant and inspiring business center and highly trained and experienced faculty. San Francisco State University’s Graduate Business programs are also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the gold standard for MBA programs.

The school offers both full-time and part-time graduate business programs for its general MBA degree. Students also have the option of following a concentration in sustainable business, or choose an area of emphasis in accounting, decision sciences, finance, information systems, international business, leadership, management, marketing, social innovation or the newest areas in ethics and compliance and hospitality and tourism management.

All undergraduate majors are considered for the MBA programs. To earn an MBA at SFSU, a candidate must fulfill a Professional Development Workshop series, eight Foundation Courses (or less depending on how many courses are waived) and ten Advanced Requirement courses. Students may be eligible to waive all or some of the Basic Foundation Courses depending on their undergraduate background.

The open house is open to all prospective students. Registration for the event can be completed online prior to the event. For more information on the programs offered at SFSU, the school will be holding an information session for its Executive MBA program Dec. 9, 2014 and another MBA open house Dec. 11, 2014.
