SFSU Holds MBA Open House

The San Francisco State University College of Business will be holding an MBA Open House. The event will be held Jan. 8, 2015. It will be held at the San Francisco State Downtown Campus from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The open house will cover the MBA, Master of Science in Accountancy and Executive MBA programs at San Francisco State University. The MBA program offers full-time or part-time options for students to pursue their general MBA degree. Students also have the option of completing a concentration in sustainable business, or choose an area of emphasis, including ethics and compliance and hospitality and tourism management.

The MBA program is designed as a balanced preparation for managerial careers in business. Its purpose is to prepare students for responsible positions in a rapidly changing world; to develop an attitude of intellectual curiosity; to foster a program of continuous learning throughout life; and to study management as a unique function applicable to all types of endeavors which involve the coordination of people and material resources toward given objectives.

The Executive MBA program focuses on refining innovative leadership competencies, management skills, and entrepreneurship. This program properly equips working professionals to meet the demands of today’s global economy and advance to the executive level in their careers. SFSU will relaunch its new EMBA program in the Fall 2015 semester.

Features of the new program include a 22-month, part-time program, the same distinguished faculty that teaches the MBA program, weekend classes held twice a month, a GMAT waiver and a placement in a cohort of diverse industry professionals.

Information on reserving a spot at the MBA open house can be found online.
