Stanford Holds MBA Info Session

Stanford University Graduate School of Business will hold an information session for its MBA program. The event will be held Dec. 19, 2014. It will be held on the Stanford campus from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

During the 90-minute program, an MBA Admissions Office representative will provide a detailed overview of the MBA Program’s distinctive features and the Stanford Graduate School of Business admission process. At the presentation, attendants are able to ask the MBA Admissions Office representative questions about any aspect of the application process or the MBA program. Upon registration for the event, prospective students will receive information to review prior to the

session.

The MBA program at Stanford is a two-year, full-time general management program. Students in the MBA program develop analytical and creative thinking and build leadership skills in an innovative environment.

The program allows students to focus their educational efforts in areas such as environment, international development, healthcare and education by participating in the Public Management and Social Innovation certificate program in addition to completing the MBA program.

Starting in the first year of the program, students follow a curriculum that builds on general management knowledge in order to gain global experience. Students can personalize their experience in the second year through electives, seminars, a joint or dual degree and courses at other Stanford schools.

Students take up to 18 electives to broaden their experience and perspective, or broaden their knowledge in a specific area. Students also have the opportunity to take a series of two-week compressed courses to build deep knowledge in specific business topics.

Registration for the information session can be completed online. This event is open to any prospective student. The next application deadline for the MBA program is Jan. 7, 2015.
