A mix of tech, treats and services, these products are a testament to the school’s innovative and career-focused education.

“Signing Day” at Mays Business School Celebrates Job Offers for MBA Students

In early December 2015, the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University held its first official “Signing Day,” celebrating Mays MBA and master’s students who accepted job and internship offers.

The event was intended as a celebration similar to the one that occurs when athletes commit to new teams. Seventy signees took part in its first year, celebrating their new endeavors with refreshments and photo sessions.

Wharton School Professors Address the Value of Social Impact Investing

Two professors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School recently published research debunking widely held assumptions that social impact investing delivers low returns.

The study, entitled “Great Expectations: Mission Preservation and Financial Performance in Impact Investments,” was supervised by Professors David Musto, finance department chair, and Christopher Geczy, adjunct professor of finance and academic director of the Wharton Wealth Management Initiative and the Levy Equity Management Center.

Santa Clara’s University’s Leavey School Inspires Leaders to Reach New Heights

Basil Newburn, current student of Santa Clara University’s Leavey School, recently talked about his goals as a student at the school.

He expects to graduate in 2018, and he has received this year’s Advisory Board Merit Scholarship. In today’s world of virtual connection, his perspective is refreshing. “I usually do my best thinking when I step away from my screens and work on paper,” he says.

D’Amore-McKim Dean to Lead International Group

The dean of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business-Northeastern University is the new president of the International Partnership of Business Schools.

Hugh Courtney was elected to lead the group of business institutions that aims to elevate business education, according to a press release from the school. Courtney will serve a two-year term.
