Students and faculty of The University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics (Lerner College) will take part in a program on the upcoming year’s economic forecast, which will be held on February 16, 2016.

The university’s Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship (CEEE) will host the event, in partnership with The Lyons Companies.

The event will be moderated by Jon Hilsenrath, chief economic correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. Featured speakers are Patrick Harker, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and president emeritus of the University of Delaware; P.J. O’Rourke, journalist and satirist; and Michael Karr, CNBC contributor and president of investment advisory firm Farr, Miller and Washington.

The CEEE is a unique program at the university which aims to educate students on the developments in education, and offers a Master of Arts in Economics & Entrepreneurship for Educators. According to the center’s website, “[The CEEE] is a critical part of Delaware students learning valuable financial lessons from kindergarten to college. These include how markets work, how conscientious spending, saving and investing can lead to financial security and how innovation through entrepreneurship is a possibility for all.”
