Rady School Ranked as Tier One School by CEO Magazine

The Rady School of Management at UC San Diego received a Tier One ranking in CEO Magazine’s 2016 Global MBA ranking. Tier One is the highest ranking given by the magazine, according to the press release from the School.

The CEO Magazine ranking evaluated 140 schools in North America, Europe, and Australia. The Rady School was the only program ranked in San Diego. For the 2016 ranking, the magazine examined several different aspects of each program including the learning environment, class size, tuition costs, faculty, and diversity. The goal of the ranking is to determine which schools offer exceptional quality and great ROI.

CEO Magazine is a source for MBA applicants and business leaders looking to profile top MBA programs. It’s part of the International Graduate Forum and was launched in 2008. It began its MBA school rankings in 2012. The magazine also recently launched an MBA program search tool that allows potential MBA students to compare over 900 programs from across the globe.

“We are thrilled with the uptake and response to this year’s survey,” said CEO Magazine’s Group Editor-in-Chief, Alexandra Skinner in a news release. “The increase in the number of business schools participating, and the inclusion of some very well-known and highly regarded players within the market, serve to further establish the CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings as a go-to reference tool for future MBA students.”

Rady School has also been ranked well by The Economist, which ranked its Executive MBA program as #1 in San Diego, #2 in California, and #33 globally. As for Businessweek, Rady School was ranked #1 in intellectual capital in 2014.

The Rady School offers one of the top MBA programs in the country. Applicants can apply for the Full-Time MBA or FlexMBA. The FlexMBA is Rady’s Part-Time MBA program for business professionals. Classes are either offered two evenings weekly or Friday and Saturday on alternating weekends.
