University of Reading Masters in Real Estate Program Structure
The University of Reading Masters in Real Estate is a full-time one-year program. The program begins in October. It is designed to enable you to understand the workings of real estate markets and appropriate techniques applied in these markets with the key real estate skills necessary to begin a wide range of careers in the global real estate sector.
The University of Reading Masters in Real Estate consists of five required core courses. Students also have a choice of several optional courses to take during the spring term. The required courses include investment appraisal, intro to real estate finance, real estate economics, a field trip and real estate opportunities. The optional courses cover a wide variety of topics ranging from landlord-tenant law to housing economics.
The University of Reading Masters in Real Estate is particularly designed for graduates with a non-property related degree who wish to develop skills and knowledge in the real estate sector. Recent graduates from a variety of disciplines are also accepted.
Tuition and Financial Aid
The 2016-17 program fees are £16,500 for students from the UK/EU and £19,900 for international students. Those figures increase to £17,500 for UK/EU students and £20,500 for international students in 2017-18.
The University offers a range of scholarships and bursaries to postgraduate students. A list of the scholarships offered can be found on the program’s website.
The program operates on a rolling admissions system. The admissions office recommends that applicants apply as early as possible to ensure a place in the program.
Prospective students can apply online or by mail. Applications are not considered complete until all of the appropriate application documents are received. Non-native English speaking applicants must submit proper IELTS or TOEFL test scores in order to apply.
