University of Reading Masters in Real Estate Program Structure

The University of Reading Masters in Real Estate is a full-time one-year program. The program begins in October. Students in this program will learn how to work within the world of real estate, and the specific business skills that they must utilize to be successful in this area.

Curriculum

The University of Reading Master’s in Real Estate consists of five required core courses. Students also have a choice of several optional courses to take during the spring term. The required courses include investment appraisal, intro to real estate finance, real estate economics, a field trip and real estate opportunities. The optional courses cover a wide variety of topics ranging from landlord-tenant law to housing economics.

Class Profile

The University of Reading Master’s in Real Estate is particularly designed for graduates with a non-property related degree who wish to develop skills and knowledge in the real estate sector. Recent graduates from a variety of disciplines are also accepted.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for the class beginning in the 2017-18 year is £17,500 for UK/EU students and £20,500 for international students.

The University offers a range of scholarships and bursaries to postgraduate students. A list of the scholarships offered can be found on the program’s website.

Application Deadlines

The program operates on a rolling admissions system. The admissions office recommends that applicants apply as early as possible to ensure a place in the program.

Prospective students can apply online or by mail. Applications are not considered complete until all of the appropriate application documents are received. Non-native English speaking applicants must submit proper IELTS or TOEFL test scores in order to apply.
