REGISTER: Marshall’s MBA.PM Info Session
For any prospective MBA who wishes to remain fully employed while pursuing a graduate degree, the USC Marshall School of Business is holding and info session about its MBA Program for Professionals and Managers (MBA.PM).
The session will be next week on Wednesday, February 19 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the University Park Campus. You can register for the event here.The 33-month MBA.PM program consists of two major components: core classes and elective classes.
During the first 12 months of the program, students will complete their core classes. These help provide a solid foundation across all major business disciplines through careful sequencing of courses from each functional area.
All MBA.PM students also take PM.GLOBE, a semester-long macroeconomics course centered around a week-long overseas trip. The initial part of the trip consists of a course that focuses on the analysis of the global business environment and how that affects business decisions. Students learn how to properly examine and assess the economic, political, social/cultural, institutional, and business environment of different countries.
The second component, the PM GLOBE module, consists of country-specific training sessions, an international field trip and a post-trip conference in which the results of the strategic industry or company analysis are presented.
Along with the unique experience that PM.GLOBE offers, MBAs complete their degrees by enrolling in elective courses that allow students to meet their own unique goals and career objectives.
Evening core classes for the MBA.PM Program are held between 6:00pm and 9:40pm twice a week. The first year core courses can be taken at our Los Angeles University Park campus on Monday and Wednesday evenings or at our Orange County campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
