Anderson Holds FT MBA Info Session

The Office of MBA Admissions at UCLA Anderson School of Management will be hosting an information session for its Full-Time MBA program. The event will be held Jan. 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Anderson School of Management campus. During the event, prospective student can get more information on the program’s curriculum, the admission process and student life at Anderson.

Anderson MBA students range from 22 to 42 in age with the average age of students being 29. The average work experience of each student is five years, with 63 percent of students having between three and six years of work experience.

The MBA program at Anderson consists of a nine-course core curriculum that provides a solid foundation in all of the fundamental skills students need to succeed as a leader in business. Anderson offers flexible scheduling for its students, which allows them to choose in what sequence that they will take the core courses. After the completion of the core courses, students spend their second year of the program completing elective courses. These courses are chosen completely by the students and allow students to focus on one topic, or explore new topics.

Anderson also offers students several specialization and tracks to follow in order to create a more specific knowledge on a certain business management topic. Specializations require the completion of four courses additional from a list of suggestions that have been carefully chosen by faculty, alumni practitioners and recruiters.
