Drucker School of Management Receives ‘Excellent’ Rating for MBA Program
The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management of Claremont Graduate University (Drucker School of Management) was recently ranked among the best in North America by Eduniversal, a global ranking and rating agency based in Paris.
The Drucker School’s executive MBA program ranked 40th in the best part-time and executive category, and the full-time MBA program ranked 33rd on Eduniversal’s list. It received an overall ranking of 88%, or ‘Excellent’.
The organization forms its rankings through a series of methods. These include student satisfaction surveys, evaluation of the schools’ reputations, and starting salaries of graduates. Also considered are diversity of student bodies and access for students to real-world experience during their time enrolled.
Tom Horan, dean of the Drucker School of Management, said, “These rankings are a welcome tribute to the quality of our MBA programs… They are also an affirmation of our commitment to developing the next generation of effective managers and creative leaders.”
Among the programs included in the rankings, in addition to the part time executive and full time MBA, are the MA in arts management, the combined JD/MBA, and financial engineering.
The Drucker School of Management and Claremont Graduate School in its whole are unique among their peers in that they are part of a consortium of seven independent institutions. Class sizes are small, as is the total student population of 2,000. As the school’s website notes, “At CGU, students are encouraged to pursue personal academic interests and research agendas even when they transcend the boundaries between individual departments.”
