The Supply Chain Management program at the Texas Christian University – Neeley School of Business was recently ranked the fourteenth top program in the nation by Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company.

TCU Neeley offers three graduate programs for professionals within the supply chain field. Students can choose between earning an MBA degree with a concentration in supply chain, a part-time MBA with a specialization in supply chain, and a master of science in supply chain management (MSSCM).

TCU jumped 10 spots forward in Gartner’s recent study, earning the ranking of the #14 top supply chain program in the country. This evaluation is consistent with other rankings. Earlier in the year, SCM World placed Neeley’s supply chain program as the thirteenth best in the United States and seventeenth best in the world.

“Several factors contributed to TCU Neeley’s significant rise in the Gartner rankings, most importantly the depth and breadth of our programs,” said Morgan Swink, executive director of the TCU Center for Supply Chain Innovation and the Eunice and James L. West Chair of Supply Chain Management. “We provide holistic, end-to-end, in-depth instruction on all aspects of supply chain management:  innovation, planning, sourcing, creating, delivering and return.”

The Gartner evaluation was based upon program scope (40 percent), industry value (40 percent) and program size (20 percent), which was developed from surveys and interviews from those within academia and the supply chain industry. The number one ranked school in the study was Penn State University.

In addition to the ranking, the Gartner study offered additional findings from their survey of national supply chain management programs, including an observed increase in supply chain majors and specializations being offered throughout the United States and Canada.
